Facebook Bans Harry Joiner?

Harry Joiner, the Marketing Headhunter, is one of the most influential recruiter bloggers out there.  He runs a successful practice.  He's been in trade publications.  He's been in the Wall Street Journal.  His blog is  a PR 6 and has more links than any of the rest of us.

But when it comes to Facebook - Harry can't catch a break.

Having finally decided to join the Facebook revolution, Harry mass-mailed his Gmail Contact list, invitations to Facebook.  Facebook didn't like it, and suspended his account.

When Harry replied that he was merely trying to manage his account the same way he does his LinkedIN account, he got no response.

Now - I can see why Facebook would want to stop spamming - but this isn't spam, and Harry has two choices.  He can stick with LinkedIn, and manage his huge network, or he can start over from scratch, and individually invite people on Facebook.  If Facebook wants him, they have to make it possible for him to move his network over.

And Harry is exactly the kind of recruiter you want on Facebook.
